A Smart Gateway in the Form of a USB Stick

Bridge Your Instruments to LIMS.

LIMS Stick reads data from an instrument's or PC's USB port (like a regular flash drive), then automatically sends it to your LIMS system via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

Designed for Flexibility & Security

A universal solution to connect any device to your data system.

Universal USB Interface

Detected as a standard USB flash drive. Compatible with instruments, PCs, Macs, or any device with a USB port for data storage.

Modern Connectivity

Send data to LIMS or a server via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Supports industry-standard protocols like TCP/IP and REST API for seamless integration.

Secure & Air-Gapped

Allows instruments (e.g., a Windows XP PC) to remain isolated from the main network, while their data can still be sent securely to LIMS.

Eliminate Time-Wasting Steps

Compare the error-prone manual workflow with the seamless, time-saving automation of the LIMS Stick.

Before LIMS Stick

1
Perform Analysis
2
Save results to a USB Flash Drive
3
Unplug the Flash Drive from the instrument
4
Take the Flash Drive to the LIMS PC
5
Manually import the file into LIMS
6
Open & verify the data in LIMS

With LIMS Stick

1
Perform Analysis
2
Save results to the LIMS Stick
Done. The data is already in LIMS.

3 Easy Steps with LIMS Stick

1

Connect

Plug the LIMS Stick into the instrument/PC's USB port. Also, connect it to the network via Ethernet or configure Wi-Fi.

2

Save Data

Perform the analysis, then save (export/save) the result file to the LIMS Stick, just like saving to a regular flash drive.

3

Data Sent Automatically

As soon as the file is saved, the LIMS Stick immediately sends it to the LIMS/server. Data is available in real-time without manual intervention.

Compatibility & Case Studies

Essentially, the LIMS Stick can be used with any instrument or PC that has a USB port and can save/export text-based files, such as csv, txt, etc.

Examples of Compatible Instruments:

  • Anton Paar Density Meter: DMA 4101, 4501, 5001 series.
  • Digital Scales: Mettler Toledo, Ohaus, Sartorius (USB Mode).
  • Spectrophotometer & Colorimeter: Lovibond, HunterLab.
  • Nakayama CE Meter: Measures carbon equivalent (CE) in cast iron.
  • Metal Spectrometers: OES, AAS, and ICP from various brands (Thermo Scientific, Shimadzu, Agilent, Perkin Elmer, Bruker, Rigaku, etc.).

Real-World Case Studies

Previously, our analysts spent almost 1 hour per day just copying results from the DMA to Excel. There was always a risk of typos. With the LIMS Stick, that process is gone. The data is recorded instantly, accurately, and ready for processing. The efficiency is outstanding.

SantosoQC Manager - Beverage Company

We have an old but reliable spectrometer, but its PC is still running Windows XP. IT policy strictly forbids connecting this device to the network for fear of viruses. The LIMS Stick was the perfect solution. We can retrieve data digitally without a direct connection, maintaining network security while still modernizing our data workflow.
