An Extremely Simple Workflow
Connect
Connect SerialStream to the instrument's RS232 port and to a USB port on your PC (or to the network).
Open Target
Open your destination application (e.g., a cell in Excel, a form in LIMS, or Notepad) and place the cursor there.
Get Data
When the instrument sends data (or after being triggered), the results will instantly appear at your cursor's location.
Two Modes, Full Flexibility
Choose the mode that best suits your software needs.
Keyboard Mode (HID)
The default and most universal mode. Data from the serial port will be converted into keyboard strokes. It's extremely easy to use and requires no driver installation at all.

Virtual COM Mode
For advanced integration, SerialStream can function as a USB-to-Serial bridge. The PC will detect a virtual COM port that can be accessed by custom software.

Our titrator is a workhorse instrument, but entering its data into the LIMS was always a bottleneck. With SerialStream, the titration data goes directly into our LIMS form after the analysis is complete. This cuts down data entry time and completely eliminates the risk of typos. So helpful!
